In 2007, the Ajpub' program supported the education of four children in San Pedro La Laguna.  The hotel has developed level-by-level (from one in the year 2000 to four at present) in order to create an income sufficient to fund this growing program.

But Ajpub' is more than a charity that just doles out money.  Participation requires that the student and his family make efforts to eventually cover educational costs themselves.  An educational savings fund must be established and while the goals aren't unrealistic there must be clear efforts to grow this fund.  The idea is to build the kind of skills necessary for responsible financial planning and deep, family-based motivation for educational success.
